Where does the Air Boat depart from?
Williamsburg Wild Airboat Tours depart from the James City County Marina located at 2054 Jamestown Road in Williamsburg, Virginia. Tours are usually 1 hour in length and please try to arrive 10-15 minutes early.
What should I wear on the tour?
In the late spring and summer, dress like you would for any other outdoor activity, sun screen and sunglasses are always recommended! In early spring and late fall, dress in layers or bring a jacket because it’s usually cooler on the water.
What about weather conditions?
There’s never any charge for a weather related cancellation and we will issue a refund in full. If you’d like to re-book, we’ll do our best to reschedule you to a different day. We recommend you book early in your vacation so that you’ll have time to reschedule – just in case Mother Nature has other plans.
Do you provide life jackets to wear during the tour?
Yes we do. Life jackets located under the seats and are available for all passengers who would like to use them, but are not required for adults. Only children five and under are required to wear a life jacket for the duration of their airboat ride.
Is ear protection provided?
Our airboat tours feature new state-of-the-art 2-way communication headsets that also provide sound protection! This allows your captain to narrate the adventure and everyone to communicate with fellow passengers during the airboat ride.
